Mike Givey purchased the Ian D. Webb Insurance Agency in January 2016, bringing with him more than 30 years of expertise with Erie Insurance. A Moravian College graduate with a degree in Economics and Business Management, Mike has built a reputation for honesty, professionalism, and exceptional customer care. In addition to operating the Webb office, he has owned Garland Insurance in Bethlehem since 2006 and previously worked as both a Claims Adjuster and District Sales Manager for Erie Insurance.
In January 2017, Mike expanded the agency by acquiring the Roseman Insurance Agency, merging staff and policyholder files into the Webb office to better serve the community. Today, he continues to provide dependable coverage options—including Pennsylvania auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, and commercial policies—helping clients protect what matters most.
Mike and his wife have four children, enjoy golfing, family time at the beach, and are proud pug owners. With deep local roots and decades of industry insight, our agency is here to help you navigate your insurance needs with confidence.

History of the Ian Webb Insurance Agency
Establishing The Agency
The Ian D. Webb Insurance Agency was founded August 26, 1952 when Herbert A. Wieder was licensed to sell fire/casualty insurance by the Erie Insurance Exchange. Since that time the agency has grown and prospered, representing the Erie and other fine insurance carriers. In January of 1979 Ian Webb was hired by Mr. Wieder as a sub-agent. On August 1, 1981 Ian Webb purchased the agency from Mr. Wieder and continued operating the agency as the Herbert A. Wieder Insurance Agency from 801 N. 19th Street, Allentown, PA.
Moving To West Allentown
After 31 years of operating the agency, Mr. Wieder retired at the age of 81. Mr. Wieder passed away on June 17, 1983 but the agency he founded more than 50 years ago has continued his legacy. On October 1, 1987 the building located at 827 N. 19th Street, Allentown, PA was purchased and renovated as the new offices for the agency operations. With this move the agency secured its location in the west end of Allentown and established a new location for the future, and the time was right to change the name of the agency to its current owner, Ian Webb.

In November of 1987 the agency’s name was changed to the Ian D. Webb Insurance Agency and service from 827 N. 19th Street, Allentown, PA commenced. On March 1, 2006 another exciting change took place when the Bruce D. Miller Insurance Agency became part of the growing family of clients insured with the Ian D. Webb Insurance Agency. The Ian D. Webb Insurance Agency has offered insurance service to the Lehigh Valley area since 1952, prides itself on personal services, and strives to provide its policy holders with the finest insurance products and most comprehensive service at the best available prices. We outgrew the location at 827 N 19th St and found our new home at 2258 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall Pa 18052. Just south of Schadt Ave. Our new location has off street parking and plenty of room for all of our great agents to serve all your insurance needs.
